What we help with

Your files, safe — and quick to bring back.

Files get lost in ordinary ways: someone deletes the wrong folder, a laptop is stolen, a hard drive fails, an update goes wrong or ransomware locks everything up.

A backup only matters if you can restore from it. We set up backups that run automatically, keep a separate encrypted copy and check that restores actually work.

Server & shared files

Regular, automatic backups of your file server and shared folders, with several earlier versions kept so you can go back to before a mistake.

Microsoft 365 backup

Microsoft keeps your email and OneDrive running, but deleted items don’t stay forever. We help set up a separate backup of your Microsoft 365 data.

Computers & laptops

Important work shouldn’t live only on one desk. We make sure files on staff computers are saved somewhere that gets backed up.

Encrypted, off-site copies

Following the 3-2-1 rule, one copy is kept away from the office and encrypted — so a fire, theft or ransomware can’t take everything at once.

Restore testing

We test restores on a regular schedule, so you find out the backup works before the day you really need it.

Recovery planning

A simple, written plan for what happens if a server, a site or your internet goes down — who to call, what comes back first and how.

How we work

From “we think it’s backed up” to knowing it is.

We start with what your business can’t afford to lose, and build backups around that.

Talk to a technician

  1. 01

    Find what matters

We list where your important data lives — servers, cloud apps, email, accounting systems and individual computers — so nothing is forgotten.

  2. 02

    Set up automatic backups

Backups run on their own, on a schedule that fits how often your data changes, with alerts to us if one fails.

  3. 03

    Keep a separate, encrypted copy

At least one copy stays off-site and out of reach of everyday accounts, which is what makes recovery from ransomware possible.

  4. 04

    Test restores

We regularly bring files back from the backup and check them — the only real proof a backup works.

  5. 05

Restore fast when you need it

Call, message or open a ticket and we restore remotely in most cases, with same-day on-site help for emergencies.

Questions

Backup and recovery questions, answered.

Something else on your mind? Call (818) 456 0303 and ask a technician — no geek speak.

Doesn’t Microsoft 365 or OneDrive already back up my files?

Not in the way most people think. OneDrive and SharePoint sync files, so if something is deleted or encrypted it can be deleted or encrypted everywhere. Microsoft keeps deleted items only for a limited time. A separate backup gives you your own copy, on your own terms.

How often should our backups run?

It depends on how much work you could afford to redo. Many offices back up at least once a day, and busy shared files more often. We help you pick a schedule that matches how your business works.

What is the 3-2-1 backup rule?

Keep three copies of your data, on two different kinds of storage, with one copy off-site. It’s a simple rule that survives most disasters. Our 3-2-1 guide explains it for small offices.

Can backups protect us from ransomware?

They are your best way back. The key is a copy ransomware can’t reach — off-site, encrypted and separate from everyday accounts. Good cyber security lowers the chance it happens at all.

How do we know our backups actually work?

By restoring from them. We regularly test restores and check the files, rather than only watching for a green “backup complete” message.
