Where your data lives
On-premise or private cloud — you decide.
Monitoring data is sensitive. We give you a real choice about where it is stored and who can reach it.
Non-cloud
On-premise monitoring
Everything stays on a server in your office or data room. Nothing goes to a third-party cloud, and you keep full control over the records and how long they are kept.
Private cloud
Cloud-based private monitoring
For teams spread across homes and offices. Reports are available wherever managers are, with access limited to the people you name.
What it helps with
Visibility that keeps a business running efficiently.
Used openly and for a clear purpose, monitoring helps managers support people — and lets teams work remotely with confidence.
Remote and hybrid work
See that work is moving forward when your team isn’t in the same room, without constant check-in calls.
Workload and productivity
Spot overloaded people, idle licenses and bottlenecks, so you can balance work and remove friction.
Time and app usage
Understand which applications and tools your team spends time in, to guide training and software spend.
Security signals
Unusual activity — like large file copies or sign-ins at odd hours — can be an early warning of a compromised account.
Clear, agreed rules
A written policy that tells everyone what is measured. Clarity tends to reduce disputes, not create them.
Reports, not spying
We favor team-level summaries and focused reports over collecting everything, and help you leave personal devices and private life out of scope.

Transparency first
Monitoring your team can understand.
Hidden monitoring damages trust and can create legal risk. We set things up so your people know what is measured and why.
- 01
Decide what you need — and why
We start with the problem you want to solve, then collect only what serves that purpose. Less data is easier to protect and easier to explain.
- 02
Write a clear policy
What is monitored, on which devices, during which hours, who can see the reports and how long they are kept — in plain English.
- 03
Tell your employees first
California gives employees privacy rights, including rights over the personal information employers collect about them. Employees should be informed before monitoring starts. We help you prepare the notice; your employment attorney should review it — this is not legal advice.
- 04
Set up with limited access
We install and configure the system on-premise or in a private cloud, with access restricted to the people you name and records kept only as long as agreed.
- 05
Review and adjust
We check in on what the reports are telling you, and switch off anything that isn’t useful.
Questions
Employee monitoring questions.
Something else on your mind? Ask us directly — we answer in plain English.
Is employee monitoring legal in California?
Monitoring company-owned devices and accounts for legitimate business reasons is common, but California gives employees privacy rights and the rules depend on what you collect and how. Tell employees in advance, keep it to work systems and get advice from an employment attorney. We are an IT company, so this is not legal advice.
Do employees need to know they are monitored?
We recommend it in every case, and we only set up monitoring that your team is told about. A clear written notice is the right thing to do, and it is often what the law expects.
What is the difference between on-premise and cloud-based monitoring?
On-premise keeps all monitoring data on a server you control, with nothing sent to a third-party cloud. Cloud-based private monitoring makes reports available anywhere, which suits remote teams, with access limited to named managers.
Can you monitor personal phones or home computers?
We advise keeping monitoring to company-owned devices and work accounts. Personal devices and private activity raise extra privacy concerns, so we help you leave them out of scope.
Will monitoring really make my team more productive?
Our clients have experienced up to a 60% increase in productivity, but results depend on the business. Monitoring helps most when it is used to remove obstacles and balance workload — not to punish people.
