Here are a few methods you can utilize in your attempt to reach their buying department.

Boscov’s Corporate Number: 610-779-2000

LinkedIn

If you are able to get the buyer’s name, you can use LinkedIn to find them and send them a message through that platform. You can also use LinkedIn to find individuals in the buying department by searching them through the company and position title. Through this platform, you may be able to make contact with the right individual or get the contact information for the right person you need to reach.

Mail

Create a high-quality product catalog and a letter introducing your company; include all relevant information about your brand and your capabilities. Once you have put these things together, you can send them to their buying department at the corporate office. The Boscov’s corporate headquarters office is located in Reading, PA.

Address:
4500 Perkiomen Ave

Once you have gotten in contact with someone in the Boscov’s buying department, they will want to schedule a call to learn more about your company and capabilities for inventory, shipping, and connections. From here, the buyer will decide whether or not to move forward with you as a buyer.

Setup Process

A very important part of the setup process with Boscov’s is setting up the EDI connection. EDI is a required method for sending and receiving business documents. More information on the EDI Mapping requirements can be found on the EDI Mapping Specifications posted in the vendor section. Boscov’s is currently partnering with OpenText to manage their EDI; help from them can be found on OpenText.com or 1-877-446-6847.

Product Creation

Boscov’s has a team of merchandisers who manage the products and content that goes up on their website. Vendors must first agree with their buyer on the products they want to move forward with and consider the margins. To get products up onto their website, vendors have to complete Boscov’s Assortment Worksheets. Vendors also have to provide high-quality product images for each item.

Vendors can upload their product selection to the GXS Catalogue and then distribute this catalog to Boscov’s and other retailers.

You and the buyer will negotiate the cost of the goods you provide to Boscov’s. The cost of a product should take into account all of the related expenses for making and shipping the items to the end customer.
